With the ‘spielzeit’ project, the Museum Morsbroich will embark on a process from May 2022 with a successively changing exhibition and a large number of events that will focus on the entire Morsbroich ensemble: the museum, the outdoor area with the park and the surrounding historic remises. Based on the central question ‘How does a museum for contemporary art become a contemporary museum?’, ‘spielzeit’ provides space for a public as well as open process – open to questions, experiments and attempts, and thus at the same time open to a possible failure and a new attempt.
